This is a hands-on role where youll be responsible for delivering financial insight, supporting decision-making, and ensuring financial strategies align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth reviews of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
Develop revenue budgets and provide precise forecasting.
Perform detailed commercial analysis to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) for business managers.
Maintain a clean and accurate data structure across finance and operational systems, focusing on stock management and best pricing practices.
Provide financial support during audits and contribute to various ad-hoc projects.
Deliver financial analysis to support business growth and profitability.
Identify risks and opportunities, helping to shape the financial strategy.
Support investment decisions with clear, data-driven insights.
Deliver detailed analysis of costs and revenues across multiple business units.
Partner with management teams to identify the root causes of variances and provide actionable recommendations.
Identify trends and deliver forward-looking insights to support executive decision-making.
Establish and maintain key metrics for evaluating business performance.
Create data-driven performance reports for real-time business updates.
Monitor and evaluate capital expenditure (CAPEX) and return on investment (ROI).
Build and refine annual budgets and forecast models.
Drive efficiency improvements across financial processes and seek value-adding opportunities.
Produce accurate, timely monthly management accounts, ensuring full reconciliation of the balance sheet.
Assist with audits, including responding to auditor enquiries and preparing financial statements.
Qualifications & Skills: ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent qualification.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced environments.
Advanced proficiency in IT systems and tools; experience with Sage Intacct is an advantage.
