Job Description:
The Principal Bookings Coordinator is a part-time role responsible for managing all aspects of out-of-hours agency staffing operations, as well as daytime cover when requested.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all aspects of out-of-hours agency staffing operations, particularly across Healthcare & Homecare divisions, in Republic of Ireland and UK.
* Manage daytime agency staffing operations when cover is requested by Healthcare or Homecare divisions.
* Fulfill vacant shifts in a timely manner and coordinate with staff and clients effectively.
* Swiftly fill unforeseen sick leave and staff no shows in a timely manner. Ensure all communication with clients, staff, and service users is recorded correctly on the respective system.
* Answer phone calls in a swift and timely manner and ensure all communication is recorded correctly on the respective system.
* Deal with payroll queries from staff and liaise with our Payroll Department to deliver an outcome for the query.
* Ensure that all systems are being used to full capacity and that all contact with client and temp are logged adequately.
Requirements:
* Minimum 1-2 years' experience in a similar administrative or clerical role.
* Flexibility to take on additional evening or daytime shifts when requested outside of the scheduled rota.
* Excellent organisation, interpersonal, communication, and follow-up skills.
* Ability to listen and guide and coordinate staff efficiently.
* High level of attention to detail.
* Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload.
* Ability to work on your own initiative and make informed decisions outside of business operational hours.
* Proficiency in IT and systems.
