About You: Hold a recognised/validated Level 8 qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.A recognised postgraduate professional qualification in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, or an equivalent qualification validated by the Department of Health.Have at least one year of post-graduate experience in adult mental health or related settings.Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Desirable: Post-qualification experience working within adult mental health/psychiatry of later life.Experience working within a mental health rehabilitation setting/framework.Training in cognitive-behavioural therapy.Training/expertise in at least one other therapeutic modality (e.g. family therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, schema therapy, emotion-focused therapy, compassion-focused therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy).
