PE Global is recruiting for a Laboratory IT Specialist on behalf of our pharmaceutical client in County Sligo.
This role is an initial 12-month contract fully onsite position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Comply with BTS Roadmap
* SUPPORT OF MANUFACTURING AND LABORATORY SYSTEMS INCLUDING MAINTENANCE AND BACKUPS
* LEAD IT MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS AND APPLICATION PROJECTS
* PARTICIPATION IN CROSS FUNCTIONAL TEAMS AND INITIATIVES ACROSS THE SITE
* COMPLY WITH ALL CORPORATE POLICIES
* IMPLEMENTATION AND UPDATING OF ALL IT POLICIES
* VALIDATION / QUALIFICATION OF HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE
* LIAISE WITH PROJECT MANAGERS TO ENSURE NEW PRODUCT INTRODUCTION PROJECTS MEET TARGETS
* LIAISE WITH IT CONTRACTORS/CONSULTANTS AND ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH CONTRACTOR MANAGEMENT SITE POLICIES
* TRAINING OF EMPLOYEES ON RELEVANT APPLICATIONS
* IDENTIFY AND IMPLEMENT PROCESS IMPROVEMENTS
* ADHERES TO AND SUPPORTS ALL EH&S STANDARDS AND POLICIES
Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent relevant discipline required
* 3 years plus of relevant IT experience essential
* A minimum of 1 year experience in IT manufacturing system/application support role
* Strong organisational and planning skills
* Capability to prioritise and multi-task
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills
* High accuracy and attention to detail
* Excellent teamwork skills
* Initiative and innovation to generate and implement continuous improvements
Desirable Skills:
* ITIL desirable
* GAMP desirable
* Working knowledge of POMs, OSI PI and SAP
The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - 80,000 per annum.
