Job location: East Galway
Working hours: 9am to 5pm (Monday to Thursday) and 9.30am to 5pm on a Friday (or on another day during the week).

About the employer:
This new job opportunity is with a health service provider in East Galway. This role is based on site with the potential to have one day per week working from home in the longer term (after 12 months). This department is busy and the team is growing as a result.
The Claims Officer role responsibilities:
* Processing all Insurance claim forms
* Liaising with Consultants and Secretaries regarding collection of claim forms
* Dealing with queries relating to a patient claim including phone queries
* Dealing with phone queries in relation to patient accounts or insurance cover
* Processing late Claims
Qualifications & Experience needed for this role:
* Strong customer service skills
* Strong computer skills
* Team player with excellent communication skills
* Ability to work in a confidential manner at all times
* Previous experience in a similar Insurance/Claims role or experience of working within a busy administration environment
