Overview
Eir evo has an internal system administration and deskside support team for daily support operations – the Junior System Administrator will work within this team to ensure that our users have an excellent experience with the use of IT in their daily work.
This role is a hands-on support role for our end-users and systems, and is suitable for a strong service desk resource who is ambitious to deliver well in their role while also upskilling for future role development.
Reporting to the IT Manager and working to implement the organisational IT Strategy, the successful applicant will have solid technical capability, a service-oriented attitude, excellent verbal and written skills and a high focus on the quality of work.
This will have access to training and project work to grow their experience and skillsets as part of ongoing career development.
Hybrid working – This role is 4 days/week on site in HSQ, Dublin.
Responsibilities
1. Manage eir evo’s IT Support queue via our ITSM toolset
2. Take ownership of IT issues and work with the team (and SMEs across the business as required), to resolve these issues;
3. Document processes and procedures to increase the efficiency of the service desk team;
4. Support M environment and perform server and laptop setups and repairs
5. Install, configure and maintain user software and communications equipment
6. Manage and communicate with third party vendors
To be considered as Junior System Administrator for eir evo, It is desirable that you have:
7. At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT Support or Service;
8. Office Administration experience essential (Exchange, InTune, AAD)
9. Knowledge of Active Directory
10. Excellent communication skills, verbally and written;
11. Pro-active, service-oriented mindset and a strong focus on the quality of work;
12. Excellent documentation skills;
