Position SummaryTemporary role
The role of the Transport Management System Governance Specialist is to perform data corrections and modifications in the TMS (Transportation Management System), root cause issues creating data anomalies, and develop data/process to resolve issues.
This role will ensure shipments for all transport modes (Air, Ocean, Road, Parcel, Inter-modal) are recorded, with accurate spend, volumetric data and itinerary dates assigned to the correct financial coding per Teleflex financial rules.
Key ResponsibilitiesAudit freight invoices according to Control Tower guidelines & rules to detect charge discrepanciesAttend Control Tower weekly dispute's call together with Regional Transportation Managers to collectively address any aging of disputes and gain approvals for excel costsPerform reconciliations to Supplier's statements, Transport Management system reports and SAP where requiredSupport Control Tower project team(s) for continuous improvement & preventative action activitiesComplete data updates in TMSRoot cause issues identified to ensure data corrections are not needed in the futureDevelop data and process governance documentation of resolutionEducation / Experience RequirementsAt least one year experience in Global Supply Chain requiredAt least one year experience in Global Transport requiredExcellent Windows, MS Excel, MS word skills.Specialized Skills / Other RequirementsSelf-driven and ability to work independently and/or as a team playerApproachable and enthusiastic.
