Audit & Accounts Senior
This well-established chartered accountancy firm seeks an experienced professional to join their team. The successful candidate will serve a wide range of clients across various industries, including both audit and non-audit sectors, as well as sole traders.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
* Oversee the operational aspects of assignments, focusing particularly on audits.
* Manage client relationships, ensuring effective service delivery and coordination of offerings from other departments.
* Mentoring trainees.
* Prepare and present reports for clients and partners upon request.
* Prepare and finalise audit and audit-exempt financial statements.
* Prepare tax returns, primarily for Corporation Tax/IXBRL, for review.
* Develop budgets and cash flow projections.
* Address various inquiries from clients, banks, Revenue, and assist with Revenue audits.
* Create working papers (in a paperless format) and financial statements in compliance with relevant procedures and standards.
* Investigate issues related to assignments to propose solutions.
* Ensure that assignments are completed within the designated budget and timeframe.
* Develop technical briefs and checklists for staff and clients.
Qualifications & Experience:
* ACCA/ACA Qualified or equivalent
* 2+ years' experience in Practice
* Strong understanding of Accounting and Auditing Standards
* Currently serving as a senior in a practice environment
* Experience in operational supervision of assignments and managing client relationships
* Some tax experience is preferred
Salary & Benefits:
* Salary €55k-€65k DOE
