Job Title: CNC Manufacturing Supervisor

Working Model: Fully onsite, Mon-Fri with a ½ day each Friday.

Role Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled individual to join our client’s team as a full-time CNC Manufacturing Supervisor. This role presents an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing cutting-edge technology and software within their advanced machine shop. In this role, you will be reporting to the production manager and managing an established team of 12 people.
Responsibilities:
1. Responsible for managing and controlling resources to ensure production areas achieve the production plan while maintaining safety, quality, service, and cost controls in place for the production line.
2. Ensure that the team are Operating Machining Equipment to precision-machine components according to specifications.
3. Establish efficient grinding process, determine grinding wheel requirements (e.g. wheel type, hardness, dressing cycles, develop setup and operation sheets to efficiently manage operation.
4. Interpret technical drawings accurately, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
5. Coach and Develop your team and ensure they are meeting their individual targets & KPI’s.
6. Highlight any potential issues to the Production Managers
7. Provide flexibility in working on any other tasks that may arise during the course of a normal day in a production environment.
8. Implement and monitor operational efficiencies throughout the production processes.
9. Define & Deliver on continuous improvement projects.
Requirements:
10. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to communicate effectively with own team, other functions, and the management team.
11. Relevant experience in a similar role in a supervisor position or ready to move into a supervisory role
12. Engage with all direct reports and foster a positive, productive working environment.
13. Experience working as a CNC Machinist and turning.
14. Sound knowledge of diverse manufacturing processes.
15. Strong problem-solving skills and an innovative approach.
