We the RecruitNet team are hiring a RADIOGRAPHER for a leading Hospital in Dublin, Ireland.
This is a 6 month contract
Key Responsibilities
* Complete radiography exams as needed and be judged competent in accordance with the competency framework.
* To keep radiography at a high level.
* To participate in on-call service when necessary.
* To participate in standard daily equipment inspections and quality control processes. to notify the RSM or the clinical specialist in the region where one works directly of any flaws or issues.
* To understand one's own limitations in terms of knowledge and experience, and not to be scared to seek help or guidance from more senior staff members.
* Must adhere to departmental procedures as necessary and the instructions of the RSM, the consultant radiologist, the clinical specialist, and more seasoned employees.
* To participate in service training and stay current with emerging methods and advancements in radiography and imaging procedures
* To report any incidents or flaws that could compromise safety.
* To provide a quality service for patients by ensuring that every patient is treated as an individual in terms of civility, friendliness, efficiency, efficacy and confidentiality.
* To perform any additional tasks as assigned by the senior radiographer, clinical specialist, RSM, or head of radiology in the area where one works.
Requirements
* BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography
* CORU registered.
* Desirable to have some post qualification experience in a radiology department.
