Our client, a leading energy infrastructure company, is seeking a skilled and experienced Payments and Bank Reconciliation Administrator to join their finance team on a temporary 8-month contract basis. As a Payments and Bank Reconciliation Administrator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payments and bank reconciliations.
Responsibilities:
1. Managing the bank reconciliation process to ensure all bank accounts are reconciled to agreed timelines.
2. Processing a variety of payments, including payroll, supplier payments, and ad-hoc payments.
3. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve payment and reconciliation issues.
4. Identifying and posting monthly journal entries.
5. Supporting month-end reporting activities.
6. Ensuring compliance with internal controls and policies.
Key Skills and Experience:
1. Minimum of 2 years experience in bank reconciliations and payment processing.
2. Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft and Excel.
3. Working knowledge of Oracle is a distinct advantage.
4. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
