Our client, a leading national Irish law firm, based in Limerick, dedicated to providing a range of commercial and personal legal services, is seeking an experienced Probate Legal Executive to join the team in their Limerick Office.
The Role: To perform the duties of Legal Executive within the Probate department.
As Legal Executive - Probate, you will assist in the discharge of functions of the section under the direction of the responsible fee earner and ensure the smooth operation of the section of the office on a day-to-day basis.
Responsibilities to include: Assist with taking instructions from clients Preparation of Wills Preparation of Statement of Affairs (Form SA2) and IT38 Preparation of Estate Accounts Preparation of Oaths, Bonds, and ancillary probate documents Liaising with financial institutions, probate office and other third parties Drafting of Deeds of Assent and Deeds of Transfer Registration of documents in the PRA Preparation of Estate Accounts Drafting and registering EPAs and Wardship applications Conduct Archiving and manage Accounts Ledger Support the solicitor(s) in the various areas which fall under his/her remit and prioritise work accordingly Creating and editing legal documents and templates Qualifications/Experience & Skills that we need: 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
Experience of drafting wills, probate papers and assisting with the running of will and probate files
Proven organisational and administrative ability as well as excellent communication skills
A positive attitude, a proactive approach to work, and a willingness to learn
A high degree of attention to detail
Proficient in IT skills
Experience advising and dealing with new clients and referrals
Drafting wills, advising on wealth management and administration of estate in all forms
Experience of Probate Litigation, licensing and conveyancing would be an advantage
Diploma in Legal Studies and membership of IILEX is an advantage.
The Offer: This position offers an attractive remuneration package of €35K to €40K per annum, depending on the candidate's experience, with benefits package.
