We are working with a global developer who's looking to hire a Market Analyst (Europe) – Battery and Hybrid Energy Storage Systems in Dublin, Ireland.

We are looking for a Market Analyst to support shaping the strategy for our ambitious development goals in the Irish and GB markets. 1. Monitor and analyze the Irish and British energy market developments.
2. Undertake studies on Regulatory and Policy issues for current and future battery revenue streams, advising on the Storage and Development department’s market strategy.
3. Identify and promote business models and go-to-market strategies for standalone battery storage or hybrid projects (battery storage + Wind or PV asset) in exchange with internal departments.
4. Understand and estimate revenue stacking calculations in available markets for standalone battery storage or hybrid projects (battery storage + Wind or/and PV asset).
5. Support the Finance department to build financial models as well as assist during the due diligence process with investors.
6. Be an important part of the “Markets and Strategy” team within the division Hybrid Energy Systems and Storage and receive support from the team and the entire department.
Your Qualifications – You...
1. Degree in a field related to economics, engineering, or mathematics.
2. Experience in the analysis of renewable energy projects, including battery storage projects.
3. Possess good knowledge of business models for energy storage and have a background in financing issues.
4. Knowledgeable about energy markets.
5. Strong communication, project management, and negotiation skills.
6. Open mindset and a creative approach to problem-solving.
7. Enjoy supporting colleagues and are a good listener, helping to find effective solutions.
8. Speak fluent English. German language skills would be considered an asset.
