JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Blender in our Dublin, Ireland facility, your main responsibility is to tint color paints, lacquers, and mix the stains according to the given recipe, production specifications, and schedules. The whole blending process must be done in accordance with minimization of waste and losses, and Company safety and housekeeping rules.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Tinting the materials according to the given recipe. Report any mistakes that occur.
* Retaining samples and keeping batch-wise data for future reference.
* Keeping the working place and surroundings tidy.
* Maintaining the machinery (Dispensers, mixers, shakers) clean and in working condition. Report faulty equipment to the Facility Manager.
* Maintenance of safe operating procedures through complete knowledge of safety rules and lab procedures.
* Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with those in line of work.
* Coaching and mentoring less experienced workers to help them use production equipment or resolve problems.
* Conducting projects from design through implementation by effectively organizing, planning, delegating, and coordinating.
* Following all waste management procedures.
* Reworking/adjusting the returned materials from customers.
* Operating the Corob / Dromont tinting machine.
* Maintaining the Corob / Dromont machine.
QUALIFICATIONS
What we are ideally looking for…
* Experience within the coatings industry desirable but all training will be provided!
* Excellent communication skills.
* Willingness to learn.
* High level of accuracy.
* Ability to lift and perform some manual work in the role.
* Driving license is required for the role.
