We’re recruiting a process engineer for our client, a leading project management and consultancy firm that operate in multiple sectors including pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical, medical devices, waste treatment and food and beverage. Our client specialises in EPCMV projects worldwide with unrivalled expertise in delivering innovative and sustainable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Administration:
6. Plan resources effectively.
7. Monitor and report team project status.
8. Engage in proposal and business development activities.
9. Support and develop the DPS CPD program.
10. Exemplify and promote DPS Core Values and Codes of Practice.
Technical:
11. Price and scope new projects, define deliverables, and oversee implementation of process designs on time and within budget.
12. Prepare process design deliverables, including PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, and equipment specifications.
13. Interact with clients to build relationships and secure future projects.
14. Ensure compliance with local, international, and client codes and standards.
15. Participate in PHAs, HAZOPs, design, and peer reviews.
16. Ensure quality control through proper use of forms, procedures, and calculations/software.
17. Mentor junior process engineers.
18. Develop tools, procedures, and standards to enhance the discipline.
19. Improve collaboration with other disciplines.
20. Manage process technologies and improvement procedures, providing continuous training for the team.
21. Align with the Central Engineering Group and implement procedures.
Education & Experience:
22. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Process Chemical Engineering.
23. Preference for professional status (e.g., Chartered Engineer).
24. Team management experience in project engineering, particularly in pharma, bio-life sciences, medical devices, microelectronics, or similar industries.
25. Proven track record in winning and delivering business projects.
26. At least 7 years of discipline experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a design office environment and previous experience as a Design Lead.
Skills:
27. Technical competence in all aspects of discipline design.
28. Experience in design coordination across multiple disciplines, AE teams, vendors, and system owners.
29. Strong management, leadership, and commercial awareness.
30. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
31. Ability to build, lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing team.
32. Strong presentation and problem-solving skills.
33. Attention to detail and proficient in reporting.
34. Computer literate.
