The Role & What You Will Be Doing
Every day, we rise to the challenge to make a difference and here’s how the Management Accountant role will make an impact:
* Cost accounting and analysis for Mylan Dublin Respiratory, including standard costing, month-end SAP Plant close processes, reporting of variances.
* Calculation and maintenance of annual standard cost prices for materials in SAP.
* Accounting for projects including new product development.
* Support preparation of site Budgets, Forecasts, Site KPIs and Management Reporting.
* Business Partnering to provide timely and accurate information to support decision making.
* Maintain AUC (Asset Under Construction) process and Asset Cycle Count programme.
* Monthly site accounting close including preparation and posting of journals to SAP.
* Month end SAP Plant Close process and review of manufacturing process orders.
* Calculation, analysis and reporting of Inventory provisions and write-offs.
* Support preparation of monthly management reporting schedules and analysis of business performance and operational spend variances.
* Partner with on-site functions to prepare analysis of operational spend variances and commitments.
* Partner with on-site functions in establishing annual cost centre budgets and forecasts.
* Support preparation and submission of budget and forecast to EPM including Net Working Capital and Inventory.
* Partner with stakeholders to maintain AUC process and site Asset Cycle Count programme.
* Support annual statutory audit process.
Other Responsibilities
* Support the implementation of the Operational Excellence Programme on the site by identifying and implementing improvements.
* Maintain high standards of GMP when in GMP controlled areas.
* Adhere to all company and legislative health, safety and environmental requirements.
* Any other duties as requested by the Finance Lead & Finance Director.
About Your Skills & Experience
For this role, we’re looking for a candidate who has an effective combination of the following qualifications, skills and experiences:
* ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA qualified accountant, with at least 2 years’ post qualification experience.
* SAP FI experience required.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably for a global company.
* Strong IT skills including MS Office, especially Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail required.
* Ability to work under pressure and to prioritise work.
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills and customer focus.
* Engaged team member with fluent skills in English both written and oral.
