We now have a fantastic new opportunity for Junior Sous Chef to join our team and contribute to the future success of Killashee Hotel.
As Junior Sous Chef you will join the Oak and Anvil Restaurant, Oak & Anvil offers simple, yet inventive dishes, using the very best of homegrown produce, in wonderfully relaxed surroundings.
Duties:
1. Assist Sous Chef and liaise with team members
2. Partake and contribute to all aspects of training in the overall kitchen operation.
3. Prepare and produce food for the area assigned, to the standards set by the Head Chef.
4. Ensure full adherence to Hygiene and Safety in accordance with the Hotel, Health and Safety policy and the Health and Safety at work Act.
5. Support the kitchen operations for the property.
6. Support the team in their duties.
7. Lead by example in excellent food presentation and service.
Key Requirements:
1. Creative and passionate about culinary arts.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Self-motivated and have a positive attitude.
4. Flexible with hours/own transport.
5. Strong interpersonal, leadership, time management, and organisational skills.
6. Full working rights in Ireland.
