Job Title: Design Manager
The Design Manager will support the team in enhancing our Design activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage a team of Design Engineers/CAD Technicians to maximise their full potential.
* Implement training and coaching programmes to fulfil operational requirements in line with Company strategy, policies, procedures, and processes.
* Manage the recruitment, onboarding, performance management, retention, employee engagement and learning development of the Design team.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years Fire Sprinkler Design Experience.
* Experience using Revit and BIM (Building Information Modelling) workflows.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise work and manage challenging workload.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Manage and Lead Design Engineers & CAD Technicians overseeing multiple design projects.
2. Problem solving and resolution of coordination and design roadblocks.
3. Management of drawing standards and specifications.
4. Manage and coordinate LCBP standards and inspection and accreditation process.
Educational Qualifications:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related discipline.
