Supported Living Services: We deliver bespoke care packages to individuals with diverse needs on a 24-hour basis, operating 365 days a year. These services differ from residential services as you will be supporting the individual in their own home, in the community, or in accommodation on a supported holiday.
Job Objectives: As a Social Care Worker/Assistant Support Worker, your role will be to provide professional care and support to the individual, helping them develop independent living skills and reach their full potential in life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Individual in experiencing everyday life within their community
* Provide support during social, educational activities in the community
* Enable individuals to pursue and maintain their individual hobbies and interests
* Drive and/or escort the Individual by company vehicle, or via public transport, to and from social activities, appointments or planned outings
* Assist with encouraging and developing individuals in personal hygiene, health matters and care for their personal appearance
* Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of the Individual at all times
Requirements:
* No qualification required for Assistant Support Worker; Level 7/8 degree in Social Care/Healthcare or related discipline for Social Care Worker
* Knowledge of standards and legislation relevant to the area, desirable but not essential
* Relevant work/life experience desirable but not essential
* Problem-solving skills

* Ability to work under pressure and empathise with others
