We are partnering with a Tier 1 alternative asset management firm that is building a European Real Estate Credit platform. As part of their growth plans, they are establishing an asset management team in Dublin, responsible for portfolio management, oversight, and reporting on big ticket European real estate transactions.
Key Duties
* Analyse and evaluate draw requests, lease approvals, loan modifications, and various other borrower requests, as well as periodic underwriting of collateral.
* Monitor portfolio performance for potential credit issues and conduct trend analyses.
* Analyze and utilize monthly and/or quarterly financial statements and rent rolls, comparing them against underwriting and budgets.
* Prepare quarterly reports and communicate key updates to senior leadership.
* Prepare and present asset performance reports to company management and other investor parties.
* Partner with internal and external legal counsel when evaluating legal issues and documenting various transactions.
* Work closely with the investment team on relationship management of transaction sponsors.
Key Requirements:
* Excellent academic background.
* 2 – 5 years’ experience in alternative credit, real estate finance, credit asset management, or real assets investing.
* Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
* High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
* Proven ability to develop and build strong relationships.
