System Administrator (m/f/d) The Leibniz Institute for Immunotherapy (LIT) researches and develops new immunotherapies for the treatment of tumors, autoimmune diseases and transplant rejection.
The LIT is looking for the next possible date for a System Administrator (m/f/d) - IT-2025-01 with a focus on the administration of a central IT infrastructure full-time (40.1 hours per week, part-time possible) permanent position.
Remuneration is based on qualifications and work experience in accordance with TV-L.
The position reports directly to the head of the LIT.
Your tasks: Together with an external IT service provider, you will manage a central IT infrastructure for the LIT with around 120 employees.
A team of experts from the external company will be available to you for special topics such as IT security management, network services and other relevant areas.
Their tasks include: Development and organization of the central, Windows-based IT infrastructure for the LIT (Windows Server 2019 to 2025) Migration to Microsoft 365/Entra ID Setup and support of virtualization systems (e.g.
HyperV and Proxmox) Supporting the data management team in the administration of research data and the integration of databases (NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB and couchDB) Responsibility for IT and data security in cooperation with the service provider (in accordance with BSI basic protection and NIS-2) Contact person for the German Research Network (DFN) Coordination with the IT managers of the University Hospital and the University of Regensburg regarding building IT and with the LIT Linux team Second-level user support in the IT area in addition to the first-level support provided by the workgroup managers and the IT service provider Technical documentation and management of software and hardware.
(MDM/Intune) Our requirements: Training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d), studies in computer science or business informatics or similar training Good knowledge and experience in the administration of Windows servers.
Experience in the area of Windows 2019-2025 servers with Hyper-V and Proxmox as virtualization platforms.
Familiarity with Linux s is an advantage.
