Accounts Administrator
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our client's team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately manage financial records using accounting software
* Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
* Ensure timely payment of supplier invoices in Sterling, Euro, and US Dollars
* Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns, EC Sales lists, and One Stop Shop VAT returns, ensuring all payments to HMRC are made on time
* Oversight of credit control processes
* Reconcile Sterling and Euro bank accounts, as well as account statements
* Regularly update and maintain financial reports and summaries
* Manage weekly payroll processing
* Administer and update the company pension scheme
* Address and resolve any account-related inquiries
* Prepare annual accounts for submission to the accountant
* Perform additional administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Experience with Sage Live 50 Accounts is an advantage but not required
* Strong bookkeeping skills with a good understanding of accounting principles
* Excellent organizational abilities and keen attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team
* Strong interpersonal skills for liaising with customers, suppliers, and colleagues
* Professional, friendly, and helpful telephone manner
* Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
