POSITION SUMMARY Zoetis Tallaght is looking for a Warehouse Operator to perform and manage the movements of stock, both deliveries in and collections out of the Warehouse.
Reporting to the Warehouse Lead, he/she will both issue and reconcile materials to Production and then accept and reconcile all returns received back from Production.
He/She will assist with cover and support for all Warehouse related duties when required.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure all duties and tasks are carried out to full GMP and Health & Safety compliance including accurate and timely completion, signing and dating of documentation as per SOPs & GMP and including wearing of appropriate PPE in the relevant areas.
Taking in deliveries in compliance with the goods inwards procedure & progressing material processing & racking in a timely manner.
Creating Shipping Documents for all Orders to Customers and keep the Shipping Folder Updated.
Provide cover to book and arrange hauliers for collections.
Provide cover to prepare and circulate External Shipping Forms for collections both ocean and air i.e.
ISF, Temperature & VGM forms etc.
Provide cover to arm Data Loggers and prepare the associated paperwork for all Ocean & Air Shipments.
Booking received materials onto ERP stock control systems/MES, producing on test/pre-approved labels & correctly labelling appropriate stock.
Checking, issuing and reconciling of packaging/raw materials for each production batch and then accepting, reconciling and relocating all returned stock from Production.
Timely movement of finished goods and components through all warehouses for transfer (between warehouses) or collections (customers) as per SOP.
Assembling & organising the despatch of raw materials & packaging to contract manufacturers as per relevant SOPs ensuring proper & accurate labelling & packing lists are attached.
Maintaining correct segregation of stock types in the appropriate warehouse zones.
Maintaining good housekeeping of all warehouse areas by keeping all areas in a clean & tidy state including the regular filing of documents.
Ensuring that all warehouse waste is disposed of and accounted for in the correct and safe manner.
Perform regular cycle-counts and to escalate any stock housekeeping issues as they arise.
Managing the Consummable Stores for the site - stocking the shelves, keeping the area clean and working with Procurement with the Kanban system that's in place.
Checking that the Waste Store & Recycling Areas are maintained, by all departments, in a correct, clean and safe manner and to escalate if this isn't being maintained.
Correct use and operation of all Forklifts licence in site warehouses.
Ensure all LMS/SOP Training is kept up-to-date and in compliance.
Provide cover and Support for Tullamore when required.
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Internal:
Warehouse Supervisor.
RESOURCES MANAGED Zoetis Tallaght stock accountability.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Leaving Cert/3rd Level preferable.
Qualified licence in both Balance & Man-Up Forklifts.
Experience in Warehousing of at least 5 years.
Experience in Improvement Projects.
Experience in the Pharma/Animal Health Industry is considered an asset.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous proven warehouse experience and materials management from within a regulated environment with a good understanding of GMP/GDP.
A passion for continuous improvements of processes, reports and tools.
A customer focused individual that enjoys working closely with colleagues, vendors and management to resolve issues and provide understanding.
A result driven and pro-active personality who can work independently and manage his responsibilities.
Ability to prioritize workload and adhere to deadlines.
Work independently and take initiative.
User of Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
Experience in ERP Systems.
