About the Role:
* As a Senior Technician in Spirit, you will report to the Workshop Controller.
* Servicing vehicles to the highest standards of the Spirit Motor Group as well as the manufacturers' specifications and guidelines.
* You will work as a diagnostic technician.
* In our state-of-the-art facilities, diagnosing, testing, and repairing faults using the latest technologies.
* Working with our brand range, including the latest release models including PHEV and EV.
* You will receive up-to-date training in relevant technologies as our brands evolve, upgrade, and grow their ranges and models.
* You will be working with the team performing and reporting on vehicle health checks.
* Liaising with the service desk to communicate requirements, additional parts, and repairs on customer vehicles.
* Working as part of a team, supporting the training of apprentices, and helping colleagues.
Skills and Experience:
* 3+ years' experience as a Qualified Technician.
* Ability to diagnose, test, and repair faults using the latest technology.
* Experienced diagnostic technician.
* Experience working with the Volvo brand.
* Experience working with EV and PHEV vehicles is not essential but an advantage.
* Attention to detail when completing documentation and IT systems.
* Be literate, numerate with fluent written & spoken English and good communication skills.
* Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety practices in the industry.
