Job Title: Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery Operations and Education Manager
About the Role
The Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery at RCSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations and Education Manager to provide administrative support to the Executive Dean, Dean, and Board Members. The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Faculty, ensuring efficient management and coordination of activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations and coordination of Faculty activities.
* Support the Executive Dean, Dean, and Board Members in discharging their functions as required.
* Supervise administration staff in the Faculty office.
* Assist with Audit and Finance matters and liaise with the finance department.
* Contribute to Business planning, implementation, and review.
* Attend relevant committee meetings as directed by the Executive Dean.
* Manage and coordinate Faculty operations under the direction of the Executive Dean.
* Ensure Board management compliance.
* Work with administration teams, Faculty leadership, and academic staff to plan and deliver strategic objectives.
* Support the execution of the Faculty's strategic plan.
* Coordinate data to ensure the Faculty meets its strategic and operational objectives.
* Develop and implement market engagement, stakeholder management, quality management, and communications processes.
* Support the Executive Dean in budget development and management, as well as annual business planning processes.
Requirements
* Team leader experience with excellent collaboration skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite and IT literacy.
* Good organisational skills and ability to demonstrate initiative and situational leadership.
* Strong communication and reporting capabilities.
* Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
* Ability to learn quickly and respond to changing needs and circumstances.
