Key Responsibilities:
1. Directs staff to maintain high standards of food safety, product preparation, and cleanliness.
2. Maintains restaurant safety and security standards.
3. Recruits and oversees staff training program.
4. Responsible for inventory and money control systems.
5. Develops and implements local marketing initiatives to promote sales.
6. Maintains accurate business records.
Additional Duties:
7. Creates and posts staff work schedules.
8. Recruits, rewards, and terminates staff as needed.
9. Communicates changes in food preparation formulas and standards to staff.
10. Maintains compliance with local and national health and food safety codes.
11. Analyzes business records to increase sales.
12. Supports local and national marketing initiatives.
13. Contacting prospective customers to promote sales.
14. Plans special events and promotions.
Requirements:
A minimum of two years of experience in a restaurant environment, with a proven track record of supervising and training staff. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for this role.
