Job Title: Senior Chef de Partie
Location: Galway, Ireland
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* To report for duty as per your roster and in the correct uniform, adhering to personal hygiene and dress code policies.
* To assist in food preparation, production, and handling in the kitchen, meeting required standards of service.
* To maintain quality control over food presentation and preparation, adhering to company policies.
* To train and develop commis chefs, ensuring they meet quality and quantity standards.
* To minimize waste, spoilage, and costs by implementing proper storage and portion control measures.
* To report any food quality or presentation issues to the manager on duty.
* To ensure kitchen equipment is functioning properly and report any faults to management immediately.
* To adhere to relevant legislation and regulations governing kitchen operations.
* To enforce correct food and hygiene standards among kitchen staff.
* To maintain accurate stock labelling, rotation, and cleaning checklists.
* To attend training courses as requested.
Applicant Requirements:
* Nationally recognized chef qualification in cooking.
* Up-to-date hygiene certification.
* At least 5 years of experience after receiving a culinary arts qualification.
* Advanced level of English language proficiency.
