About the role
We are recruiting for an HR Advisor to be responsible for providing HR support, advice and guidance to employees across our Irish divisions.
Overview of dutiesBusiness partnering with the leaders of the divisions to drive the NFP PeopleFirst cultureAct as the first point of contact for all HR and people-related queries e.g.
disciplinary, grievance, sickness, code of conduct, personal improvementSupport and coach the Managers to monitor and manage performance across the divisionPartner with Managers to identify and develop top talent across the divisionMaintain electronic and personnel records, including, filing contracts, letters, emails, monitoring absence, employee turnover and performance reviewsManage employee benefits administration including pension & PMIFeedback any people-related issues to HR Manager and Director on a regular basisSupport HR Manager and leadership team with organisation development and change programmesEntering data into our online HR system and keeping details updatedDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key customers within NFP, demonstrating professional credibilityManage the HR portal in regard to new queries from employees Person specificationKnowledge, skills and abilities: Flexible, positive approach with the ability to adapt to constantly changing environmentAbility to deal with people at all levelsAbility to work on own initiative, independently or as part of a teamTrustworthy and reliableHigh integrity to ensure confidentialityGood communication skills both written and verbalGood planning and organisational skillsStrong up to date knowledge of employment lawExperience in the development and management of HR ProcessesExperience with employee relations and day to day HR practicesExcellent influencing and negotiation skillsAbility to deal with colleagues at all levelsComputer literate and experience/good working knowledge of Word & ExcelProfessional approach to workAbility to work under pressure and prioritise effectivelyEducation / and or ExperienceMinimum of 5 years' experience within a similar roleRelevant HR Qualifications are desirable Key information:Hours: 35 hours
