The Rediscovery Centre is an award-winning social enterprise dedicated to leading environmental behavioural change and green living through reuse, education, research, and training. Recognising the need to grow awareness of the circular economy and support circular living in Irish society, the Rediscovery Centre is developing and implementing a new national scale, consumer-facing communications initiative that supports and promotes circular activities across Ireland to facilitate Ireland’s transition to a Circular Economy.
This new project includes establishing a national circular economy brand and website, (Circular.ie) launching behaviour change campaigns, conducting market research and supporting the promotion of circular activity in communities across Ireland. In-depth analysis and insights relating to the impact of communication activations will inform future work in circular economy communications. The work is aimed at ensuring Ireland’s citizens are ready for the circular transition.
To support this exciting initiative, we are now looking for a Data Analyst.
Reporting directly to the Communications Manager, the Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in optimizing our digital marketing efforts by analysing datasets, providing actionable insights, and driving data-informed decisions across all digital channels.
The role will centre on the digital aspects of marketing data analysis, focusing on the tools, platforms, and metrics specific to digital marketing channels and strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse performance data from various digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC, social media, email, and content marketing
* Monitor and report on key digital campaign KPIs such as CPC, CTR, conversion rates, and ROI
* Develop advisory briefings on digital marketing best practice for communications practitioners and support the national communications working group on communications data analytics best practices and key performance metrics
* Conduct A/B testing and multivariate experiments to optimize digital campaigns and user experience and advise on best practices
* Utilize web analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) to track user behaviour and identify areas for improvement
* Analyse customer journey and attribution models to understand the impact of different touchpoints
* Develop and maintain dashboards to visualize digital marketing performance
* Collaborate with the digital marketing team to optimize campaign targeting
* Analyse competitor digital strategies and identify market opportunities
* Provide data-driven recommendations for budget allocation across digital channels

* Accuracy of predictive models and forecasts
* Impact of data-driven optimizations on conversion rates

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Data Science, or a related field
* 3-5 years’ experience working in a data analytics role or digital agency.
* Proficiency in cross-platform analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
* Experience with digital advertising platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager)
* Strong knowledge of SEO and SEM principles
* Familiarity with marketing automation and email marketing platforms
* Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Other Desirable Qualifications & Skills
* Google Analytics certification
* Experience with programmatic advertising and DSPs
* Knowledge of machine learning applications in digital marketing
* Familiarity with APIs and data integration techniques
* Experience with CRM systems and customer data platforms (CDPs)
* Experience with SQL and ability to query large datasets
* Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modelling techniques

Terms and conditions
This is a fixed-term full-time contract of service for two years, five days over seven, with a probationary period of 3 months. The contract is renewable, subject to available funding.
The role is primarily based at the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun, Dublin 9. Some work outside normal office hours and travel within the EU may be required from time to time.
This position is subject to satisfactory references, evidence of permit to work in Ireland, Garda Vetting and foreign police clearance (if applicable).
