Job Summary:
As a Scrum Master, you will lead and mentor a Scrum team to deliver high-value products incrementally, leveraging Agile/Scrum best practices. Your role involves facilitating agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a self-organizing, continuously improving team environment. You will guide the team and organization in adopting Agile principles, ensuring effective collaboration, decision-making, and conflict resolution. Your goal is to enhance the team's productivity and maturity in Agile practices, driving successful project outcomes.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Facilitate daily scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, and retrospective ceremonies.
2. Possess conflict resolution skills, focusing conversations to align on scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect.
3. Forecast commitment deliverables.
4. Coach team in estimation and planning.
5. Coach the team in Agile practices and continuous improvement.
6. Help team or individual clarify goals and actions to achieve them.
7. Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences.
8. Track and remove impediments.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Understand and adhere to all corporate policies, including the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
2. 8-10 years of previous release and/or project management experience.
3. 8+ years of experience in information systems operations environment in systems analysis or development.
4. Knowledge of software development lifecycle.
5. Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion.
6. Demonstrated effective leadership and analytical skills.
7. Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must.
8. Facilitate the team to continually improve.
9. Knowledge of agile methodology and frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, XP, etc.
10. Strong knowledge of Scrum theory, rules, and practices.
11. Ability to use metrics to forecast and support the team in meeting commitments.
