We are seeking an experienced Inventory Planning Manager to join our IT Services team, responsible for optimizing IT asset distribution to internal employees across Europe.
This role will focus on developing and implementing inventory management strategies, forecasting models, and lean operational standards for both centralized IT warehouses and local office hubs.
The ideal candidate will combine analytical expertise with practical inventory management experience to drive operational excellence and cost efficiency.
Key job responsibilities:
Develop and maintain inventory forecasting models to optimize stock levels across European IT hubsCreate and implement standardized inventory management processes for both centralized and local IT office hubsPerform complex analysis to understand inventory trends, demand patterns, and system behaviorBuild and maintain dashboards to track key inventory metrics and provide actionable insightsDevelop and implement lean inventory management strategies to reduce waste and improve cost efficiencyPartner with stakeholders across regions to establish and govern inventory management standardsLead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management processesPartner with Procurement teams to develop and execute laptop generational transition strategies, ensuring optimal timing and cost-effectiveness of hardware refreshesCreate analytical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadershipMentor team members and share best practices across the organizationBASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience in program or project management
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience in defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Master's degree
- Experience of Six Sigma/ Lean analytical techniques
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
