BIM Engineer
John Sisk & Son are delighted to be working on cutting-edge developments where, as an experienced BIM Engineer, you will be working on exciting and innovative projects whilst utilising your comprehensive knowledge in Autodesk Revit/Navisworks/AutoCAD to manage Pre-con and Live Construction projects whilst ensuring the highest possible efficiency and quality.
This is a full-time, permanent position based in the Dublin area and you will be in a site-based role, where you will be a key part of our site team operations in the successful delivery and handover of our projects.
You will be:
1. Working closely with preconstruction bid teams, temporary works department, site and project teams whilst designing and producing 3D and 4D BIM Models.
2. Supporting the project team and gaining an extensive understanding of their contractual obligations with support from the BIM Manager.
3. Supporting the prodcution and delivery of project BEP, MIDP, MPDT and digital implementation strategy.
4. Reviewing and validating Project Information Model (PIM) developed by design teams and subcontractors.
5. Attending / facilitating weekly coordination meetings.
You will have:
6. Completed a third-level qualification in construction, computing or a related discipline
7. 3+ years of experience in construction, building BIM Engineering
8. Excellent written, verbal communication skills and experience working with MS Office
9. 3+ years experience utilising Autodesk Revit, Viewpoint for Projects / Dalux, Synchro Pro, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Lumion and other rendering software packages.
10. Experience and understanding of ISO19650
