Senior Finance Analyst - IT & Networks
You will support our IT & Networks department with all aspects of Finance, including P&L budgeting and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the timely delivery of complete and accurate monthly management information associated with IT & Networks.
* Ensure completeness and accuracy of month end results.
* Provide relevant commentaries on variances and performance.
* Support the IT and Network Operations team and its management in delivering on their financial targets by effective business partnering.
* Provide accurate and timely information to the business.
* Prepare and review financial data for IT & Networks budgets and forecasts.
* Highlight risks and opportunities to management and the business.
* Manage the Network Finance Analyst / Finance Graduate.
* Provide coaching and support their development.
* Enhance and introduce financial controls, processes and procedures within Network Finance.
* Continually review all processes and procedures, highlighting amendments as and when necessary.
* Ensure all processes and procedures implemented within IT and Network Operations can be integrated in the financial systems, ensuring that all are adequate and appropriate.
* Co-ordinate activities with external and internal auditors on all matters relating to IT & Network Finance.
* Provide support on requests that are made to the Finance department by the Group Head office.
Requirements:
* A qualified Accountant with previous hands-on involvement in the preparation and delivery of monthly management reporting.
* A proven background in the preparation and delivery of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Stakeholder management skills with experience liaising in a financial capacity with all levels of an organisation.
* Desirable Oracle GL experience (or equivalent system).
* Prior knowledge of working with bespoke systems.
* Experience in the telecommunications sector.
