Clinical Nurse Specialist Child and Adolescent Mental Health of Intellectual Disability (CNSp CAMHS-ID)
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at Avista, providing clinical supports and residential services to children with complex disability needs and their families.
About the Role
The successful candidate will work as part of an Interdisciplinary Team that provides services to 0-18 year old children and young persons with complex needs. This role requires collaboration with families within a family-centred model.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide clinical support and interventions for children and young people with mental health needs and intellectual disabilities
* Develop and implement individualised care plans in partnership with families and other professionals
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of best practice guidelines and protocols
Requirements
* Registered in the Intellectual Disability/Mental Health Division of the Register of NMBI
* Level 9 post-registration QQI national qualifications relevant to the specialist area (Child and Adolescent Mental Health of Intellectual Disability)
* Minimum 1 year's post-registration full-time experience or aggregate of 1 year's full-time experience working in the area of Intellectual Disability
* Minimum 1 year's experience or aggregate of 1 year's full-time experience in the specialist area (Child and Adolescent Mental Health of Intellectual Disability)
* Full clean driving licence and use of own car
