About the Role
A leading organisation is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to join its Finance team. This role will be responsible for preparing management accounts for entities within the Group, while also collaborating with Operations to provide timely and accurate financial information.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prepare monthly management accounts for Group entities.
2. Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed monthly.
3. Support quarterly financial reporting requirements.
4. Manage month-end accounting processes, including accruals and prepayments.
5. Assist with accounts payable and receivable management.
6. Contribute to annual budget preparation, business planning, and forecasting.
7. Ensure tax compliance across Group entities.
8. Support the annual financial statements process and liaise with external auditors.
9. Analyse financial variances and provide insights to senior management.
10. Assist in KPI reporting and financial analysis.
11. Continuously review and improve internal financial controls and systems.
12. Provide ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
Skills & Experience Required
* Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).
* Strong attention to detail with analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial systems.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
