Warehouse Supervisor Cork, Ireland Role Overview:Our client is seeking a dynamic and proactive Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small but efficient team of three within their Cork-based warehouse.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of inventory management, and optimizing the flow of goods in and out of the facility.
Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, you will be instrumental in fostering a positive team environment while achieving operational targets.
Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Management Supervise, motivate, and manage a team of three warehouse staff, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, provide updates, and address any concerns.Oversee staff training, development, and adherence to health and safety regulations.Operational Excellence Plan and oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.Ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.Monitor and enforce efficient workflows and adherence to company procedures.Inventory Control Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems.Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies promptly.Work closely with the Warehouse & Logistics Manager to plan inventory levels and replenishment cycles.Health & Safety Compliance Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments as required.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.Provide input on operational strategies and support the implementation of new systems or practices.Experience & Skills:Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or similar role.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team.Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Commitment to health and safety practicesForklift license or relevant certification.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
