Main purpose of the role:
To ensure compliance of all areas of employment within the business, coordinate and deliver central recruitment process for our store, coordinate and deliver onboarding and induction experience for all new colleagues, maintain personnel files, key KPI trackers and prepare reports for the wider management team.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
* 2 years experience in a relevant position
* Highly driven with a strong work ethic
* An understanding of how to achieve KPIs and targets
* Commerciality and brand awareness
* Passion for grocery retail
* Thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
Main duties:
* Manage day to day payroll reporting, complete the weekly store payroll.
* Absence - Monitor absence levels, manage repeat offenders, complete absence report, complete return to works, escalate absence issues to HR Manager.
* HR administration.
* Compliance reporting - U18, right to work, 11hr breach, breaks in line with legislation (Health & Safety).
* Holiday management ensuring all holidays are booked for all colleagues.
* Collating HR KPIs and maintaining monthly and weekly trackers.
* Manage new starters and leavers approval for payroll, include completion of exit interview.
* Organise relevant training courses both virtually & in person.
* Engagement calendar for the store to ensure we are making the store a great place to work with completion of the engagement survey.
* Undertake the management of the recruitment process and liaise with senior management.
* Document and file all recruitment interview notes.
