Job Description
Our client, the Land Development Agency (LDA), is a commercial semi-State body that seeks to maximise the supply of affordable homes on public and other land in a financially sustainable manner. It supports the creation of thriving communities and delivers ongoing positive social impact.
The LDA has commenced construction on numerous projects on State land and has a delivery pipeline exceeding 17,000 homes. In partnership with the country's largest homebuilders, it will deliver an additional 8,000 homes under Project Tosaigh.
The agency is also working on large-scale strategic areas through master-planning and planning applications in locations such as Limerick Colbert Quarter and Dublin's Digital Hub.
The Role
Project Planners play a vital role in ensuring projects stay on schedule and within budget. They monitor project implementation, improve efficiency, and reduce delays by collaborating with teams and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate possesses technical and commercial acumen required for delivering landmark projects. They must be a team player with drive, work ethic, and adaptability to respond to the LDA mandate.
Key Responsibilities
* Responsible for project controls, aiding management of activities associated with organisation, planning, scheduling, forecasting, and critical path analysis.
* Monitor project progress throughout life cycles, create work programme schedules, estimate resources, and ensure construction projects stay on track.
* Analyse project phases to determine budgets, track project costs, and advise implementations to stay within budgets.
* Identify and evaluate risks that can derail project delivery and provide solutions for mitigation.
* Prepare stakeholder reports and collaborate with teams on company resource scheduling.
