What you’ll do
Stripe is looking for a talented and experienced Contracts Manager to join our fast growing commercial legal team in EMEA.

Responsibilities
1. Support the EMEA Sales team by drafting and negotiating Stripe commercial agreements within established guidelines;
2. Be an integral part of the build out of Stripe’s commercial legal infrastructure so that we can scale and operate efficiently at pace with Stripe’s exponential growth - this work includes leading and contributing projects to improve internal processes and operational efficiencies;
3. Work with teams across Stripe, including sales, operations, product, tax, and risk groups;
4. Develop and deliver training and other resources to help the Sales team sell our products;
5. Facilitate updates to Stripe’s online agreements and written templates;
6. Create and maintain playbooks and other shared resources; and
7. Support our commercial lawyers within various work streams
Who you are

Minimum requirements
8. A clear and concise communicator (in written and verbal forms), who can distill the key risks and explain complex issues in plain and simple terms;
9. intellectually curious and a creative problem solver - Stripe’s products and our industry are complex and ever evolving - you should relish learning new things and finding creative solutions to challenging problems;
10. A self starter with a bias for action - you are proactive and have a strong sense of ownership;
11. A team player who is willing to do what it takes to contribute to the collective success;
12. Experienced in managing multiple projects or responsibilities of varying complexity at once and meeting deadlines;
13. Good analytical skills and judgment, even in ambiguous situation; and has:
14. 4 + years’ experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a range of commercial contracts.
Preferred qualifications
15. Experience working in a high growth company;
16. Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) system and Contract Lifecycle Management (“CLM”) system; and
17. Fluency at a business level in French, German or Spanish
Hybrid work at Stripe
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.
Pay and benefits
The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €72,800 - €109,200. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.
