We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Administrator to join our team in Waterford. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of the HR department and ensuring efficient HR processes.
Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for various administrative and HR-related tasks, playing a key role in maintaining employee records, preparing HR documentation, and facilitating smooth communication between employees and management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the efficient execution of daily HR operations, ensuring seamless administrative processes.
2. Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative assistance to the HR Manager.
3. Draft, revise, and distribute key HR documentation, including employment contracts, fixed-term contract extensions, and employee handbooks.
4. Maintain and update employee records within HR systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
5. Process HR documentation and generate weekly and monthly reports for the HR Advancement Manager, including Starters/Leavers and departmental updates for Business Development and Projects meetings.
6. Ensure HR information is consistently updated and maintained on the SharePoint platform.
7. Assist in the review, revision, and enforcement of company policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and proper document control.
8. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by management to support business needs.
9. Serve as liaison between HR and employees, facilitating effective communication and ensuring timely resolution of personnel inquiries.
10. Coordinate apprentice assessments and attendance, working with supervisors to manage on-the-job training and confirm attendance with Education and Training Boards (ETBs) for off-the-job training.
Requirements:
1. Exceptional organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
2. Strong verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) at an intermediate to advanced level.
4. Proactive, self-motivated, and solution-oriented, with a positive attitude.
5. Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.
6. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
7. Experience with document management systems and document control is highly desirable.
