Speech & Language Therapist, Manager – Radiation Oncology service, Dublin
Cpl Healthcare in partnership with the HSE are recruiting for a Speech and Language Therapist Manager for the St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) based in Rathgar, Dublin 6
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Speech and Language Professional to further develop their carer and services, including Videofluoroscopy within the network.
The main patient groups who require SLT service are patients with cancer related to head & neck, brain and CNS, lung, upper GI and any cancer diagnosis in the late stages.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Speech and Language Therapist Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the Speech and Language Therapy service at St Luke’s Hospital as well as working closely with SLT services across the network through the provision of a clinical service to persons undergoing radiotherapy treatment and provide clinical leadership/professional supervision and governance to the speech and language therapy team within SLRON SLH.
Interested candidates are required to hold:
·A recognised qualification as a Speech and Language therapist with CORU registration or eligible for registration with CORU
·At least five years post qualification experience, ideally within an acute hospital setting
·Experience working with oncology patients
·Have supervisory / management experience
·Experience in service delivery and development
