Project Management Responsibilities
The project manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of a customer project throughout its entire life cycle.
* Initiate, plan, execute, control, and close projects from original concept to final implementation and support/maintenance.
* Provide technical and functional analysis to identify, evaluate, and develop systems and procedures that meet user requirements.
* Understand, capture, and communicate business requirements to customers, development teams, test teams, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Participate in solution discussions with the customer and internally to evaluate and propose solution approaches.
* Develop comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases.
* Monitor project progress continuously and provide regular internal and external updates.
Customer Liaison
* Be the main point of contact for customers.
* Provide status overviews.
* Take ownership of critical issues.
* Manage all customer UAT sessions.
Integrations
* Understand existing integrations.
* Participate in solution design with customers.
* Work with the architecture/development team(s) to implement required integrations with 3rd party systems.
Essential Skills
* Ability to work well as part of a team.
* Self-motivated with a positive and flexible attitude.
* Ability to set and work to strict project deadlines.
Desirable Skills
* Knowledge of MS SQL, JIRA, and Development Lifecycles.
Educational Requirements
3rd level qualification in Computer Science or related discipline.
