Sustainability Advisor Role:
Kildare Construction is a leading technical construction contractor with expertise in advanced manufacturing, data centres, food, logistics, and pharmaceuticals. Our team delivers top-quality commercial and manufacturing facilities.
We are looking for a Sustainability Advisor to assist our construction operations in ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving targeted certifications. The role will report directly to the Head of ESG and Sustainability and will be part of a wider sustainability function that serves all business functions and needs.
The key responsibilities include:
* Providing technical advice and guidance as the sustainability subject matter expert
* Supporting project teams in discharging environmental, social and sustainability related planning conditions and delivering organisation KPIs
* Undertaking regular site visits and inspections to ensure environmental compliance and best practice
* Writing and communicating site project environmental and sustainability documentation
* Identifying and reviewing social value project requirements and opportunities
* Supporting the delivery of social value initiatives
* Organising Considerate Constructor requirements and preparing sites for audits and compliance with the standard
To Be Considered You must have experience in an environmental and sustainability role. A degree or similar in an environmental, social or governance discipline is required. Additional qualifications such as ISO14001 internal auditor, BREEAM Accredited Professional, Carbon literacy or emissions accounting qualification are desirable. You should also have relevant construction industry experience and a current valid driving license.
