5 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsHR Business Partner- Servier (Irl) IndustriesReporting to the Head of HR & Training, the Learning & Development Lead will be responsible for leading and supporting the effective functioning of all learning, people development and training activities across the site. The L&D Lead will work closely with all departments to ensure that employees receive the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively by assessing learning needs, designing training and development programmes, coordinating the rollout, and evaluating the effectiveness. They will also ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with all regulatory and compliance requirements.Areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:Learning & DevelopmentAct as the site learning and people development subject matter expertWork with department heads and managers to conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the learning and development needs of employeesDesign, develop and coordinate innovative learning and development programmes to support the business activity site-wideDevelop processes to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programmesDevelop and implement career development programmes to support employee growth and retentionOversee and coordinate the site Yearly Development Review (YDR) processOwner of Excellence Through People accreditationEnsure the effective functioning of all aspects of the Employee Educational Assistance programmeSupport all aspects of Apprenticeship Programmes (as required)Oversee preparation and periodic review of Job DescriptionsTrainingSupport the induction/onboarding of new employees with an optimised Induction programmeEnsure site compliance for all mandatory training in accordance with regulatory requirements along with all corporate learning programmesBuild strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness of training initiativesMaintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomesManagementLead the L&D team and ensure the effective management of all aspects of the L&D functionParticipate, as required, in the development & implementation of Human Resources policies & strategiesProvide advice and coaching around learning and developmentParticipate in internal and external compliance audits or regulatory inspectionsEnsure all L&D policies and procedures are in place to support the strategy and KPIsPrepare and manage the site L&D budget efficiently and identify any investment needed to support the L&D strategyFuturePromote and sustain a culture of learning and development onsiteLead the identification, development and implementation of lean / innovative learning technologies and approachesBuild an internal and external network to support benchmarking of L&D best practicesMaintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practicesThe successful candidate will be expected to work co-operatively and flexibly both within the HR & Training department and with other departments across the site. The successful candidate will also be expected to demonstrate proven leadership ability and management skills, be performance and goal orientated, with the ability to prioritise. Excellent communication skills with a collaborative approach to work are also required. Strong attention to detail, refined planning and organisation abilities with a proven track record of multi-tasking, working to tight deadlines and delegating successfully are essential.
