Private Equity - Valuations & Operations
The Firm
An exciting opportunity has arisen within a leading global private markets investment manager for a finance professional to step into a high impact role that bridges investment operations, valuation oversight and reporting for a sophisticated portfolio of direct private equity investments.
You will collaborate closely with investment, finance and technology teams to ensure best-in-class reporting, valuation governance and strategic portfolio insight.

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development and delivery of internal and external portfolio reports, performance dashboards and investor updates
2. Monitor financial and operational KPIs across direct PE investments and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
3. Drive automation and standardisation of data collection, reporting workflows and reconciliation processes
Valuation Support & Oversight
1. Support quarterly and annual valuation cycles in collaboration with investment teams and external valuation advisors
2. Review and enhance valuation models (DCF, comps, transaction multiples), ensuring compliance with internal fair value frameworks
3. Act as a key contact for audit and valuation review processes
Platform Development & Strategic Initiatives
1. Contribute to the build-out of operational processes and reporting tools to support scale and efficiency
2. Work with technology partners to implement and refine data, reporting and valuation systems
3. Mentor junior colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing within the operations team
Process & Stakeholder Coordination
1. Manage portfolio company data collection and validation, supporting accurate reporting and timely decision-making
2. Collaborate with fund administrators, auditors and tax advisors to support fund operations
3. Respond to investor-related queries and ensure timely, high-quality information flow
Requirements
1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline
2. 4–7 years of experience in private equity operations, valuations, or investment reporting, ideally with exposure to direct investments
3. Deep understanding of PE fund structures and valuation methodologies
4. Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with BI tools (e.g. Power BI), Snowflake or Anaplan is advantageous.
5. Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management ability, and a proactive mindset
