AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
Key job responsibilitiesRepresent the voice of the customer, bring customer feedback to product teams. Lead curation of custom feature and availability requests for unique customer use cases.
Provide advanced technical knowledge to customers and your other AWS teams to unblock our customers' largest and most critical business challenges.
Collaborate with your GTM colleagues to provide technical insights into GTM strategy and support field marketing to execute local technical events, campaigns, and customer engagements.
Act as a thought leader sharing best practices through forums such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, reference architectures and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.
Guide and Support an AWS internal community of technical subject matter experts aligned to your customers.
Create field enablement materials for the broader SA population to help them understand how to integrate new AWS solutions into customer architectures.
You will work directly with our largest and most innovative customers to help them deliver their software and services with Graviton Instances.
You will work directly with our largest and most innovative customers to help them deliver the most reliable, cost-effective, and secure compute infrastructure.
You develop the reference architectures that our customers use to deploy the most complex, and scalable compute infrastructures.
You work directly with ARM, Annapurna Labs, and our services teams to make sure our customers get the best price/performance out of our Graviton instances.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONSExperience architecting infrastructure solutions using both Linux/Unix and Windows with specific recommendations on server, load balancing, HA/DR, & storage architectures.
Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
Experience optimizing software performance on different compute architectures.
Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSHistory of successful technical consulting and/or architecture engagements with large-scale customers or enterprises.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Familiarity with common enterprise services.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise.
Computer Science/relevant degree and/or experience highly desired.
