Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse or Phlebotomist with experience to provide high-quality patient care at our Dublin Health Clinic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical nursing or phlebotomy, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient advocacy. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive health services to a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform phlebotomy procedures, including venipuncture and capillary collection, with precision and care.
2. Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
3. Conduct initial patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history intake.
4. Develop and maintain patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
5. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
6. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
7. Ensure compliance with clinic protocols, health regulations, and infection control standards.
8. Assist with other clinical tasks as required, including wound care and administration of IV therapy.
9. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
10. Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
1. Valid nursing license (for Registered Nurse applicants) or phlebotomy certification (for Phlebotomist applicants).
2. Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
3. Proficient in phlebotomy techniques and knowledgeable about patient care best practices.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
6. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
