Cork City Council invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the post of Executive Parks & Landscape Officer. The selected candidate will be part of a panel that may fill temporary and permanent vacancies for this role.
Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Arboriculture, Natural or Environmental Science (level 8 or higher). They must also possess a current clean driving licence (Class B) and have not less than five years of experience in planning, design, development, and management of parks, heritage landscapes, and other related areas.
* Plan, design, develop, and manage parks, heritage landscapes, and other green spaces.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve corporate objectives.
* Manage and motivate staff to deliver projects on time and within budget.
* Develop policies, strategies, and best practice guidance as required.
Requirements
The selected candidate must:

* Have not less than five years of experience in planning, design, development, and management of parks, heritage landscapes, and other related areas.
