We are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer to join our client's team on an exciting project in Athlone. Responsibilities:
1. Setting out using total station & GPS equipment.
2. Establish and maintain procedures with design team, client and subcontractors for information flow, approvals, meetings and reporting.
3. Record all daily activities, relevant information and occurrences in site Management system, Procore (training will be provided).
4. Conduct your work in a safe manner, correct and report those who do not.
5. Comply with ISO company procedures.
6. Reporting to management team on the programme schedule and ensuring compliance with plans, specifications and building standards.
7. Undertaking surveys and ensuring engineering details are being followed on site.
8. Supervising subcontractors and checking quality of works.
9. Conduct document reviews, scheduling and attending site meetings to ensure overall compliance with building schedule.
10. Reporting to the Project Manager and senior management team on all aspects of engineering relating to the project.
11. Managing & providing training to Junior staff & Engineers.
12. Ensuring compliance with agreed construction methods particularly those relating to Quality Assurance and Health & Safety.
13. Manage project close out including securing warranties, guarantees and acceptance of work, subcontract and vendor closing, including as built submissions.
Qualifications:
1. 3-5+ years in similar role.
2. Engineering Degree.
3. Knowledge of construction techniques and be competent in all aspects of setting out, surveying, and temporary works.
4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
5. Strong IT skills with good knowledge of MS office & CAD.
6. A good understanding of Health & Safety requirements within Irish construction.
7. Strong Management Skills.
8. Full Irish Driving licence.
