Treacy West County Hotel Ennis is currently recruiting for the role of Duty Manager.
This is a 'day to day management' role that is ideally suited to a candidate that has a minimum of 3-5 years previous Hotel experience (from a variety of Hotel positions) with excellent interpersonal, organisational and leadership skills. Experience of managing a high achieving team is required. The passion to drive and exceed customer expectations and deliver on all financial targets.
Other responsibilities include:
1. To plan and direct the hotel’s main operations including implementation of standard operating procedures, quality control, standards of excellence and guest satisfaction.
2. Promote a culture of excellence in delivering a customer experience that reflects our brand values of 'family friendly hospitality.'
3. To work in conjunction with Heads of Departments to implement the hotel’s strategy and ensure the cohesive operation of the hotel’s daily activities.
4. To be accountable for and respond to all the day-to-day queries, customer service issues to provide the ‘best in-class’ customer experience.
5. To monitor and manage hotel functions through our hotel management software system and familiarise yourself with all updates & amendments.
6. To liaise regularly with Management team and participate in forecasting and planning of business activities.
7. To demonstrate commercial acumen in maximising sales opportunities and cultivating a pro-active up-selling culture in the hotel.
8. To carry out rostering duties for various departments as required.
9. To promote a positive work environment with a solutions focus and can do attitude through effective communication and regular team meetings.
10. To carry out regular hygiene assessments and address any issues identified.
11. To implement all Health and Safety procedures, thereby protecting yourself, other employees, guests and any other persons on the Hotel premises, as deemed necessary by legislation.
Experience Required:
1. 2-3 years Hospitality experience.
2. Must have strong Food & Beverage / Banqueting background.
3. Previous experience in the Hotel market is essential. Will have a natural, hands-on approach in ensuring that exceptional customer service is delivered to all guests at all times.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: €30,000.00-€35,000.00 per year.
